As you realized there is a problem with all the Spam-Bots in this forum. I know it's very annoying. I will not pretend as if I were an expert of protecting the forum out of spams but I'll try to help. Some ideas :

- I've noticed that there is something like a CAPTCHA (Wirte the red letters of the logo, and so on..) for the registration. Wouldn't be a CAPTCHA with a visual image that generates random numbers better (similar to the one to vote for tunes)?
- Use automated and manual filters that the spammers won't overwrite them hopefully.
- Block suspicious links or the user is allowed to post only less than 2 links per post.
- (A Button) To block/ban the user or the administrator bans his/her IP adress.

Have a good week(end).

Yes, we know this. The Q&A was selected after the reCaptcha was no longer good enough. We will do something with this in short time, right now I've disabled new registrations.

New registrations are back. Now new user posts must be approved by moderator.

I realized that the "Spam-Bots" have now a new method to spread advertisement links on the forum. The most of the new registered user have in their signatures links to various shops, boards (for example : "Cheap shoes, free software...".
It's a pity that the forum gets less "normal" users, just some Spam-Bots that are putting advertisements in their signatures. I think that you have to check this out. It is just a little information for the forum.

That's true, but I do not approve their posts and regulary delete their accounts.

Ok good to know. I didn't know it before. I just though that the forum gets a user list that has unnecessary fake accounts to spread their advertisements here.
Anyway, case closed! :P
