CODEX Installer - Ripping issue

 Hey everyone!
I'm having a huge issue with this installer by CODEX. I can't seem to extract a functional tune out of this one. I've tried a bunch of tools, with no success at all. A memory dump of the EXE/TMP contained a .mod and a .mxm, but both of them seem to be either corrupted or don't work at all. It extracts some dlls and renamed to *.tmp executable to your TEMP folder. I've still not founf the music but there's BASS.dll file within extracted files. This is the library for playing the music and the file wich imports it is bp.dll . That's it for now
 As of being bass and not bassmod the music can be even mp3, not necessary to be any tracker format..._________________ KEYGENMUSiC.net Owner/author (basically, your god here ). |

Did you ripped it? If so then how? Because i have another similar installer by codex.

No I didn't. I have found a mp3 of the CODEX installers somewhere on the internet (probably the orginal one isn't a mp3 but a xm, mod, it etc.). I don't know if this was ripped or not but to be honest the sound quality of the file is very good and until we have the "self-ripped orginal one" I put this mp3 I've found.

Here, I've ripped those installers. They had an ogg inside. One of them is the same tune as in this thread.

Yeah it's pretty ugly but it seems to be an useful tool for such situations. I had problems with ripping the music out of the CODEX installers too.
